Laghouat is a capital town of the Laghouat Province, Algeria. Some common dynasties in Laghouat's history include theYagoubi dynasty (1183- 1392), the Rezzoug dynasty (1394-1418?), the Naidjate dynasty (1420-1657) and finally the Saci dynasty, known to be the most powerful (1658-1797).
